ReplyDeleteThese colors are fabulous. I'm not a quilter, but am a needleworker and am always looking for great fabrics to use on my finished projects--as a backing, a border or even stitching on them. These fabrics would be great for those purposes!

I love the rainbowy goodness of the pie making day line. And your patterns are so amazing it would be hard to choose! I especially love the panda, elephants and zebras!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway, thank you so much. If I won I think I would put many of the fabrics to use in a baby quilt I plan to make in a couple of months. I'm thinking of an Elmer design and these fabrics would work wonderfully for that. I'm sure I'd also have enough to make a few chorus line ladies for myself as I think they would make for such a fun sewing tote.

ReplyDeleteSnowball
By Shel Silverstein
I made myself a snowball
As perfect as could be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet
And let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas
And a pillow for its head.
Then last night it ran away,
But first it wet the bed.
To be honest, I think I am more interested in the pattern than the fabric, I'll give that to Mr10 who is trying to build up his own stash
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm not going to say I'd attempt the chorus line even I want one of my own, but I'd make a quilt for sure!!
ReplyDeleteThe thought of "Pie-Making Day" reminds me of an elderly woman in he nursing home where I worked in high school and college (over 30 years ago). Anna rarely talked, but when she did, she'd talk about her husband who loved her pies. Anna would make pie a few times a week so he'd always have a slice in his lunch pail. His nickname was "Pie Face". I loved that little old lady.
ReplyDeleteI love your fiesty kickers. But I also have a desire to make a 'three ducks flying into the distance' wall hanging (I am having a mental block and can't for the life of me think how else to describe that) and keep eyeing your duck pattern to help me out with that. But I can only buy when I have finally finished my current quilt. I don't like WIPs hanging around. I know I'm weird...
ReplyDeleteI love this fabric line. Other than make "a quilt" I'm not really sure what I'd do with the bundle, but I'll figure it out - I promise!

My Mom started a quilt for me with the parasol ladies. I think it would be terrific to put the chorus line ladies on the back. As I always say, they are no good girls gone wrong - only bad girls found out! (OK, Mae West said it, but I would love to put that on the label for the quilt.) The fabrics are perfect!
