Its amazing what a difference a few short days can make!
I wouldn't say that my blogging mojo is back full force yet, but I am definitely beginning to enjoy sewing again and new ideas are popping into my head all the time!
First off I've started work on a new class for the Make Cafe. I am adapting the guest tutorial that I did a while ago on Make. Life. Beautiful.
My plan is for people in the class to have a choice between making a glasses case or a coin purse.
I am especially loving the wee coin purse, but I am slightly worried that its a bit too fiddly and complicated for the class. I'll make another one up sometime in the next few days and make a decisions. I showed the purse and the glasses case to a few people today at work and had very enthusiastic reactions, so hopefully there will be lots of interest in the class
There's plenty more to share, but I think I'll keep that for another day!
It feels great to be sewing so much again!
Yay yay yay! And they look awesome! No wonder you got great reactions :) looking forward to seeing your other projects :). Good luck for the class - i'm sure it will go super well xx
ReplyDeleteWow! It's such a bummer I don't live in Christchurch!!! I'd love to take that class. Great that you've got your sewing groove back :)

How cool. It will be a great thing to do at the Make Cafe. Love that place. For some reason I thought you were based in Auckland. Not sure where I got that from? I actually got to this link via craftilicous from sweet living magazine. Funny how things go around.
ReplyDeleteI'm very interested in your glasses case - I have so many pairs of glasses that I switch between and I'd much rather have that gorgeous case than the black leather ones I have now! :)
ReplyDeleteThe glasses case is a brilliant idea
ReplyDeleteSuper cute project! Gorgeous fabrics! Thanks for sharing tutorial!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
