I wasn't sure if I'd share this project on my blog until it was finished, but seeing how beautifully it is coming together, I couldn't help but give you a wee peak.
This is a very very special quilt, but for the moment I can't tell you too much about it.
What I will say is that this is not all my own work. The majority of these blocks were created by my very talented and generous friends. A couple of these friends were stepping well out of their comfort zone in so doing, but they were determined to do it for very a good cause.
I love how much thought everyone has put into their blocks and I can't wait to see the recipient's face when the quilt is handed over! There will be tears - of that I have no doubt, but I am totally certain that it will also be loved and appreciated!
It really is an honour to put this beauty together! Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed.
Joining in with the fun over at WIP Wednesday.
