For quite a while now, people have been suggesting to me that I should open a Craftsy store to sell my paper pieced patterns.
Initially I was reluctant. I designed these blocks for fun and felt passionate that I had learnt most of what I know about sewing from talented bloggers who have shared their knowledge and skills for free, it just didn't feel right to sell my patterns.
But as the number of patterns that I design grows, I have come to realise that maybe I can charge for some patterns and leave others as free downloads. Soooo, I opened a Craftsy store. Initially I have listed the butterfly patterns. I will slowly add all of my patterns to the store, some will be free, others will have a nominal charge. I hope you don't mind.
I guess I've just entered a new phase as a blogger- exciting stuff! Wish me luck!
Exciting stuff :) Well done you!
ReplyDeleteThat's GREAT!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood Job!!!
ReplyDeletevery exciting, go you!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! Great idea .....Congrats :)
ReplyDeleteThere must be a vast amount of time and effort you spend in creating your original patterns so I don't think a charge is unreasonable at all - what you are selling the patterns for seems very reasonable to me (if not possibly too little but then I don't know anything about the craft), so you go girl!
ReplyDeleteGo you!!
ReplyDeleteWOOHOO! Honestly I dont know how you do it! You've obviously worked very hard to get where you are, hope you can reap the benefits! xx
ReplyDeleteYay!! Fun times, Juliet. :)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! That's great news!!
ReplyDeleteExciting Indeed and congrats!!! No one could complain about the prices you are charging.
