My pattern testers have been doing their best for me again!
When I asked Pam if she would like to test my small ladybird pattern, I knew I was asking a lot. She had only tried her hand at foundation paper piecing once before, but from having followed her blog for a while I knew that she was more than up to the challenge.
I was right.
Just look at the cute little ladybird that she sewed:
Didn't she do well?! I love how she added the extra embroidered details
If you would like to sew a 5 inch ladybird, you can find the pattern here.
It seemed only right to give ChrissieD the first chance to try the smaller version of the butterfly pattern after she did such a great job on the full size butterfly pattern. I was blown away by how quickly and beautifully she pieced this little butterfly.
The worry when you ask people to test blocks for you is that they end up with lots of orphan blocks, so it was great to see that Chrissie already has the perfect use for this block. Doesn't it make the perfect partner for her butterfly quilt?
Thank you so much Pam and Chrissie for being such great pattern testers!
Those are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThey are awesome! Yay for lovely testers!
ReplyDeleteAbsolute pleasure, your patterns are so great who wouldn't want to be one of your testers? Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased you trusted me to test the ladybird, Juliet. I'm with Chrissie... looking forward to your next creation!
ReplyDeleteyou are so generous offering these patterns to us! I tried Paper Piecing at the weekend and it was a disaster! I haven't given up yet, but I think I'll try some simpler patterns before I try yours!
ReplyDeleteI pay a visit daily a few websites and blogs to read articles, but this weblog gives feature based writing.
