(Or should that be fools seldom differ?)
I love unexpected squishy mail!
I love unexpected squishy mail!
Look what the Lovely Leonie sent me out of the blue. She must've got wind of the fact that my momentum is waining with the sampler quilt and decided to help me over the finishing line.
Thank you so much Leonie, its perfect!
But...
Do you want to know the funny part? (Its ok, Leonie already knows) I was halfway through making a block when it arrived.
Here's my finished block:
Look familiar?
Don't they make a great pair!?
I love how different they both look due to the differing fabrics and background colour. The block is called "On The Plus Side" and it comes from Modern Blocks.
The new blocks look great mixed in with the collage, don't you think!
Just three more blocks to go now!!! I love how different they both look due to the differing fabrics and background colour. The block is called "On The Plus Side" and it comes from Modern Blocks.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely thing to get in the post. I adore your blogs. I can't wait to see it put together. I think subconciously your quilt affected the choice of colours for my most recent shawl. You can see the evidence here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stitchedtogether/8382432303/
