Ummmmm... Oops!
I've been thinking that I need a good portable crafting project. One that I can take with me on some up and coming adventures. Sooooo, I may be a bit late to the party, but I finally decided to join in on the hexie craze that has been sweeping the world recently.
I started playing with fabrics and hexies today and I only really meant to make a decision as to what I am going to make and which fabrics I would use...
I wasn't really getting a clear idea, so I decided that I should maybe just cut out a few hexies, just to see what they'd be like...
... And yes, you guessed it, next thing I knew I was making my first few hexies.
I LOVE them!
... Still don't know what I'm going to do with them!
Maybe a cushion?... Or a bag?... Or a mini quilt?
I'm sure I'll work it out sometime.
In the meantime I'll just have fun making hexies until I run out of papers!
I love it, especially the fabrics that Cat chose. They are really true to her style and I will smile every time that I see this block and think of my good friend.
These are all the wonderful blocks that I received in round two of the Bee:
