There is a blogging revolution going on at the moment and we're joining in!
I have been dying to try out this pattern in its original form for a while, but Dee's short shorts revolution was just the trigger that I needed to get me to take action!
You will no doubt recognise the pattern as I have used variations on it here and here.
This time I (almost) faithfully followed the pattern! The only change
that I made was to add poppers between the legs to make nappy changes
easier with a very wriggly boy!

The shortalls were made with the off cuts of the fabric used for Mr Tartankiwi's shorts; left over red cord from when I made newborn trousers and a random bit of plain quilting fabric that I had lying around. (Don't you love it when you can complete a project using only what you have in house!)

Those are the ones he was wearing yesterday aren't they? I thought they were just gorgeous! Loved my boys in dungarees at that age, though most of them were longs for winter.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - gorgeous!! I find it so frustrating that the only shorts I can find for my toddler go down to his ankles! If I had half your sewing skill, I'd totally be joining in this revolution :)
