As such, it was up to each individual to decide whether to make it an easy guess for their recipient or make something completely out of character just to confuse.
In the end, I thought I was making it fairly easy for my swap partner and made something with a couple of clues as to the maker.
I made a gift for Kirsty. Here is what I came up with:
It's a jewellery roll, complete with two zip pockets (trusty green op-shop zips of course to keep costs down); a ring holder and two other small pockets. Inside one of the pockets was a covered button brooch and a beaded bracelet (sorry forgot to take photos of them!)
I must admit to being pretty chuffed that Kirsty guessed that Nin made it... My sewing can't have been that bad!
Curious what other people received and gave?- Go here and here and here and here.
Thanks to all the Christchurch bloggers who came along and made it into such a great evening (and those who were there in spirit if not in body- we missed you Widge!).

ReplyDeleteOh I love that jewelry roll. I might have to make one for myself. It's way more versatile than the drawstring fabric bag that I use now. Thanks for sharing it!
