If not, you're missing out on a treat. Just look at the beautiful jewellery that she makes.
If jewellery is not your thing, how about one of her gorgeous prints?
My favourite of Lee's pieces in the Love Christchurch pendant.
It was designed as a symbol of solidarity and as a way of helping out in the wake of the February 22nd earthquake. 20% of the proceeds are donated to the Red Cross.
Every detail of the design has been carefully thought through. Here is Lee's description of the design:
In the colours of Canterbury, red one side and black the other it symbolises a city that has been broken yet slowly and surely will be put back together, to become one again. The heart image sits on the distinctive Cloud Nine illustrated background and reflects all of the lives that have been forever changed and how the heart of the city can never be destroyed. To embellish the images I have added a bright red bead which sits daintily above the pendant. Finally, the text, ‘Remembering’ and ‘Christchurch Quake 22.2.2011’ is written around the edge of the image.
Lee has kindly agreed to give a Love Christchurch Pendant to a lucky Tartankiwi reader.

ReplyDeleteLee has created some truly fabulous stuff. I haddn't heard of Cloud Nine before - thanks for pointing her out. I am so moved by the creative thought in the Love Christchurch pendant. My husband used to travel there for work, we have friends who live there and we took a holiday there together - I think one of the best I have ever had. The Earthquake seriously moved me.
