As you have probably noticed, there hasn't been too much crafting done here this week. So it feels good that I finally managed to find quiet moment to get started on a wee present for my nephew.
Last year during blogtoberfest, I was fortunate to win a giveaway on Curlypops for a fat quarter of her gorgeous reindeer fabric. Over the last year I have looked longingly at the fabric, but haven't dared to waste it with my shonky sewing, so I guess its a sign of my growing confidence in my sewing ability that I finally cut into it and started a first wee project.
Here is a sneak peak. Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with the finished item.
Cute reindeer! I love that Denise Schmit print you have on the end of the zips too - I was looking at it the other day, but I was good and didn't buy it....I have enough fabric to last me literally years!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS fabric! Can't wait to see what you're doing with it!
