It suddenly occurred to me that there was one essential piece of babywear missing from Yo Baby's wardrobe... a nappy!
What self-respecting baby is seen out and about these days without their Modern Cloth Nappy which coordinates with their outfit.
As usual, I went searching for a tutorial and found this one, but as is becoming increasingly common, I ended up ignoring it and improvising my own pattern.
OMG honey - Margaret (baby dolls name) has NO nappies and Tsunami has been at me and at me to make her some! Thank you xxx
ReplyDeleteYo baby is getting better dressed by the day!
ReplyDeletethats cute, I love the matching diaper! I have a baby doll in desperate need of a makeover.... Yo babies outfits are making me think I should create a few :)
ReplyDeleteyour timing is perfect. I just finished making new outfits to turn a lil baby doll from a girl to a boy for my son Dex who loves it to pieces. But the nappy is the icing on the cake that the baby needs. My son treats it as his baby and loves that they have some of the same clothes. Although he doesn't have cloth nappies I think it would be a great idea to make some pull on undies as he'll be toilet training soon.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable! Love the fabric, love the coordinating dress and nappy. Thanks for sharing with all of us at Sew Can Do!
