THE BEFORE PICTURES (Yo Baby in her original clothes and dressed in Rascal's t-shirt)
This weekend, I finally decided that it was time to take action so I collected some scraps of fabric and started creating. To be honest, I am a bit gob-smacked that my first attempts at dressmaking actually fit Yo Baby. Not only that but they look pretty darn cute!
THE AFTER PICTURES: Here is Yo Baby modelling the first Outfit
In an attempt to avoid sewing fiddly tiny little seams and to give Yo Baby the maximum amount of clothes with the minimum amount of effort, I decided to make the dresses reversible. I will do the shoulders slightly differently next time, but all in all I am really pleased with the finished result. More to the point, Rascal is THRILLED and Yo Baby has hardly left her side since the new dresses were handed over. And here she is modelling the second dress... a funky retro style mini-dress
Now, I think that I need to attempt to make some trousers for Yo Baby next.
Challenge #44- (Make dolls clothes)- Underway! I don't dare to say that this challenge is finished otherwise poor Rascal will never get any more dolls clothes!
