My Creative Space
A fair amount of head scratching went into this wee project, but with lots careful thought it was completed with no need to unpick anything (apart from when the sewing machine decided to have a wee hiccup!) I followed this tutorial. My seams are getting less wonky all the time. Maybe I'll managed to sew a straight line one of these days!
I'm pretty pleased with the finished product, I can see me making more!

ReplyDeleteWow your new wallet looks excellent!! Great colours :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Megan, it does look tricky!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it will come in very useful (a lot better than having all the cards swimming around in the purse)
That is a super lovely purse - thanks so much for the tutorial link. Oh and - your seams are lovely. You should see mine.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Your seams look great. I have wonky seams too, lol.

wow - well done, looks awesome :-)
ReplyDeleteLove it!! Might just have to check that tutorial out!
ReplyDeleteThe answer to wonky seams is really, really simple - another blogger told me this. Stick a post it note on your sewing machine to show you where the edge of the fabric should be to give you the right seam allowance - and keep the edge of the fabric lined up nicely with the edge of the post it note. Makes a real difference and my seams are no longer wonky!
Very nice. And sewing a straight line is a massive challenge for me!
