I'm Loving...

... Toothy grins...

and dribble
(OK, maybe I'm not entirely loving the dribble, but I've resigned myself to seeing lots more of it over the next couple of years!)

Also loving introducing solids to wee man. You should have seen his eyes open wide with delight the first time that he tasted pear... priceless! He then couldn't eat it fast enough... Yum yum yum yum yum! Its such fun seeing the reaction to each new taste and texture- enthusiastic, caution, delight are just a few of the reactions that have been noted so far.

And look what Rascal did... Her first self portrait:

Until now when you ask what her painting or drawing is of, you will be told "blue!" or "yellow!" This time we have a smiley face complete with eyes and a month (Granted you might need to squint and tilt your head to see it, but its there, I promise!

Loving the way that Rascal's brain work. When she saw a sleeping Tiger at Orana Park, she immediately cried out "happy things!" and went on to recite the Tiger's happy things (which were remarkably similar to Rascal's happy things- swimming and avocados).

So much more to love this week: Yet another Christchurch bloggy get-together (building on established friendships and making new ones), successful crafting and giveaways (have you entered yet?) to name but a few.

What are you loving this week?
I'm joining with Paisley Jade again...

  4. CUTER than cute little toothy pegs! Love the drawing - I love when they turn into 'people'. My daughter always draws knobbly knees on hers (sticks with circles) - they're so funny!
