Tea Towel Tuesday- Toddler Trousers

What's that I hear you say?... An expensive pair of linen trousers for Rascal...
Ummmmm... No... A pair of dirty dish rags!!!

Ok, you got me, they're not dirty, but they are tea towels!

This weeks toddler size trousers were made using a pair of matching tea towels from the Warehouse. I am afraid that I forgot to take a "before" picture, but here is a photo of the third tea towel that came in the pack (recognise the stripes anyone?)
In general I am pretty pleased with my first effort at making clothes for one of my children. That said, I have to admit that I chose the wrong pair of trousers as a template and as such these will only fit Rascal properly once she is toilet trained. I am pleased with the way that they look and at $7.99 for the pack of three tea towels this means that the trousers come in at approximately $5.50 total.

So what have you all been up to? Anybody else got a tea towel creations? I'm afraid that I don't have a linky thing, but post about your creation in the comments and I promise to come visit.

  2. Awesome trousers. I have the same pack of tea towels except in blue. I had originally intended using them for sewing but DP kidnapped them for the kitchen.
