I'm loving...

Life is pretty grim here in the Greater Christchurch area at the moment and as a result I have spent a lot of time thinking about what to write in this post. Having said that, I  am still not sure that it really says what I want it to.

Before Tuesday, I had a light hearted and flippant post which no longer seems appropriate.

On Tuesday itself, I wasn't going to write this post at all.

On Wednesday I had an earthquake oriented post which was desperately trying to be positive.

On Thursday and Friday I feel the need to find some balance between the horrors that occurred earlier this week (and still continue); the repetitive but totally addictive media coverage of the events in Christchurch and the need to find some kind of normality for the sanity of my family.

This week, more than ever, I am loving my beautiful children. They are too young to understand the events that are unfolding around them. They give us a reason to strive towards normality and remind us of the beauty that there still is in this world. They do not realise just how precious their cuddles are at this stressful time.

I am loving our garden and the wonderful fruits growing in it. Not only that, but I am loving watching Rascal scoff these little beauties down as fast as she can...
Yum! Taste SOOO good!

I am loving the Kiwi spirit and those who are knuckling down to help their neighbour.

Even in these dark days, there is a lot to be love and be thankful for. Its up to us to recognise it!

I am taking part in Paisley Jade's Linky again. Please pop over and see what others are loving
