Just a quick post today to say that I hope you are all enjoying your labour day holiday as much as I am. We have taken the opportunity to get out of the house and enjoy ourselves instead of obsessing about all the things that need to be done in and around the house. We all needed a break so it has been very welcome.
On a personal note, isn't it amazing how quickly you can feel better about things if you just admit to yourself that you are struggling! It was only last Tuesday that hubby and I had our crisis talks about how bad I was feeling and last Wednesday that I started this blog and already I feel a thousand times better.
As for my challenges, well I am making steady progress:
The baby blanket is well over half knitted and amazingly doesn't appear to have any major holes or mistakes in it.
I have made a prototype Christmas tree decoration for the Kiwi Christmas Ornament Swap and know how I am going to package it up (with bubs #2 due in mid December I have to be organised this year). At this early stage I am not divulging any details... you will have to wait a bit longer to see what I've come up with...
On Wednesday I am going to attend a playgroup for the first time. At the moment I have that strange combination of excitement and nerves about it. I hope that it is a success for all involved.
Keep smiling everyone and enjoy the sunshine (I will!)
