Sweet Pouch Swap Received

I was a good girl at Christmas time and didn't sign up for any swaps. I must admit to feeling a twinge of sadness when I saw all the blog posts about amazing swaps that people had done but deep down, I knew that I had made the right decisions, I had too many other things on my plate at the end of the year.

Now if I'm honest, my life has probably got busier rather than quieter in the New Year, but when I saw the Sweet Pouch Swap over at Sew Delicious, it seemed rude not to - I mean a beautiful handmade pouch and chocolate- what a great combination!
Its the first time that I've really taken part in the flickr side of a swap and I must say that it was great fun seeing what everyone was making and guessing what might be for me!
I received my parcel the other day from Jill of  Made with Moxie. Isn't it beautiful! Now I can trick people into thinking that I am sophisticated and elegant when I carry this beauty around (ha ha!).

As for the chocolate- its hidden from the kids and I'm slowly munching through it- sharing with Mr Tartankiwi of course!

I must admit to being very excited about the wee extra that Jill put in. I can't wait to try out the sampler pack of aurifil threads. You can't get this in New Zealand (as far as I'm aware) and I've heard so many rave reviews that I can't wait to give it a go myself! I have just the project- stay posted!

Thanks Ros for organising such a great swap and Jill for being a great partner. Now to wait and see if the recipient of my parcel is happy... fingers crossed...

  6. Lovely pouch! As for the Aurifil, what a treat. I'm a convert after giving it a try when I go one of these little sampler packs. I only sew with Aurifil now.
