Boing!

I'll let my daughter explain what happened yesterday.

"Somebody boinged into daddy's car and then they went DONK. Daddy's car is broken. Daddy is a little bit broken too, but he's ok!"

Today I'm feeling grateful. This could have gone so so much worse. The car looked pretty horrendous when I saw it on the way home yesterday, but it was the worst casualty of the crash.

Mr Tartankiwi was the only one in the car. He went to hospital in an ambulance and spent the night in hospital for observation. He is sore and aching but seems to have got off lightly. He has a sore knee, bruised ribs and a bit of internal bruising. The driver of the other car walked away unscathed.

Thank God for seatbelts and airbags! That's all I've got to say!!!

I am going to take a few days to spend with my family.
Thank you for your patience.

Juliet x
