Small Paper Pieced Butterfly

Following on from the small ladybird pattern... may I present my wee butterfly. Its a downsized, simplified version of my butterfly block.

When choosing fabrics, I fought my minimalist tendencies and pulled out my fab Jenean Morrison Silent Cinema fabric for the wings. I love the way it works in this context.

Don't they make a cute pair?
I suppose I had better make some more ladybirds and butterflies and get on with this baby quilt.

Or maybe I should use the butterfly to make a needlecase to go with my sewing case, I never did get round to making that- hmmmm... what do you think?
