My Creative Space- Bags and Purses

Its so much fun having a 3 year old and a 1 year old in the house! One of them copies everything that you say, the other copies everything that you do!! We've been having a ball all playing together and its a wonder that I've managed to get any sewing in, but amazingly I've actually been fairly productive!

I love a bit of variety in my sewing, so after a long (but enjoyable) week of sewing childrens clothes, its been really good to move onto something else this week.

I have been working on building up stock for market.

So far I've got some bags- buttercup bags in all kinds of fabrics for both ladies and little ladies.

I've also made a few of my flex frame purses. These are such fun to make and I am loving playing around with different fabrics. I think that my favourites so far are the bicycles.

Hmmm... I think I might play with the design a bit for the next one, I'll get bored if I make too many identical items!

There is an abundance of fruit at our house at the moment... passionfruit;  the first of the feijoas and the last of the grapes.
The first batch of feijoa chutney has been made and feijoa muffins are planned for tomorrow.

Scallywag thinks its amazing that he finds all this fruit lying about outside. If he finds a passionfruit, he just bites a hole in the skin and sits there sucking out the contents! We have found a fair few feijoas with teeth marks in them too.

Linking up with Creative Spaces- hop over and see what everyone is up to!

  9. I love all the bags...especially the corduroy one! very sweet :) Lil Miss still loves hers! And that is so cute to hear about scallywag and all the teeth marks! Fejoas don't last long around here... they start eating them before they even have a chance to ripen... yuck!

  14. Ahh! I love all the little birds :-) Maybe that's just 'cause I'm a bird lovin' gal. A lovebird and a black headed caique hang out with me in my sewing room.
