Scrappy Goodness

Its all about scraps here at the moment...

I received my packet of scraps from The Scrap Bag Swap so I've been whipping up a couple of wee projects.

First of all I made this cute windmill hairclip. It could do with a few wee finishing touches, but you get the idea...

Then I had a go at making a dumpling.
These are so cute!
Great for storing a few wee essentials in your bag and a lot easier than I thought they'd be.
I am pretty sure I'll be making more of these as gifts in the future. Just imagine a linen dumpling with a cute applique or embroidered design.

Scrappy projects are pretty addictive, so I'm off to make a few more wee things. There may be another tutorial in the pipeline if you are lucky! What do you do with your scraps?

  1. Love your little "dumpling"!! what a cute name for them! and the pinwheel hair accessory is a great idea!

I have so many scraps it's not funny - I keep literally every size - even the really REALLY small ones and use them for stuffing!
