Tea Towel Tuesday- Adult Apron

Another simple project this week...

We've had the child's apron, now its time to make an adult apron! The apron was loosely based on the following tutorial. It was really simple to make!
Its a bit hard to make out in the picture, but the tea towel was folded in half and the strap was attached. The back portion of the apron was allowed to hang down, the front portion was folded in half again and turned into 3 pockets (hope that makes sense, if not just look at the tutorial!)

The more of these projects that I do, the more I am realising that success or failure depends on choosing the correct tea towel for the right job. I am really pleased with how easily this towel transformed into a pretty apron.

I've been having MAJOR fights with blogger today and to be honest I'm feeling a bit hacked off with the whole thing, so you'll have to put up with this photo of the apron lying on the ground instead of a beautifully posed photo of me wearing it (sorry!).

On a separate note... how could I not participate in the Tea towel swap? If I don't like what I get I can always turn it into something cool... JOKE!!! Its open worldwide, so if you want to participate, follow the link and join the fun.
