I would say I'm sorry... BUT...

Hmmm... this is the first post of the New Year so I suppose I should wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and best wishes to all.

I would apologise for having been MIA recently, but to be honest I am not sorry at all! These last few weeks have been great! We have been getting to know our mellow wee man, getting used to life as a family of four and generally enjoying a relaxed holiday season.

Wee Man is doing really well. He is extremely tolerant to his big sister and never complains when she kisses, hugs or squashes him in an affectionate if not very gentle way! His two favourite things are eating and sleeping... as proven by the fact that he put on weight in the first 4 days and then went on to gain a whopping 680g in the following 12 days!!! Yes... its all true... my children are gannets!!!
Rascal enjoying her food!
Rascal has had a few tantrums along the way, but with a little bit of patience on our part she now seems to be revelling in her role as a big sister. We have been discovering just how much she loves to help, so where possible we have been finding small tasks for her to do. Her favourite phrase at the moment is "Help Daddy! Help Daddy!!!"

I am beginning to think about getting back into crafting and have a few potential projects up my sleeve at the moment. The pace of progress will no doubt be slower than it has been recently, but I am determined to keep up the momentum and keep creating!

So with that, I'll leave you for now. May the New Year bring you all joy, happiness and the wisdom to see the positive side of any challenges that come your way. I wish all of you who have made New Years Resolutions the strength to follow them through. As for me, I'm going to keep going with my challenges, so no particular resolutions have been made.

I look forward to getting to know you all better in the coming year. Roll on the new challenges...
